RIP Dick Francis

The BBC is reporting that legendary horse racing mystery author Dick Francis has died in the Caymen Islands at age 89. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/arts_and_culture/8515165.stm

Francis is a MWA Grand Master, three time winner of the Edgar Award, and the author of many mysteries and three recent ones with his son Felix. Another mystery co-authored with Felix is due to be published in Fall 2010. His books are favorites of many customers at our store, as well as being a favorite of the Queen of England.

If you haven't read a Francis mystery lately, now would be a time to give one a try. We have about 10 hardback titles and many in paperback. Just give us a call 800-538-0042.
